Holdout problem - When a government offers an exchange offer, in an effort to restructure its sovereign debt, some bond holders may reject it. Bondholders are so widely diversified that the coordination of bondholders has become very difficult.

Toy problem - In mathematics and information science, a toy problem is a problem that is not of immediate scientific interest, yet is used as an expository device to illustrate a trait that may be shared by other, more complicated, instances of the problem, or as a way to explain a particular, more general, problem solving technique. See, for example, secretary problem and monkey and banana problem.

Subordinated (debt) - Subordinated debt, also known as junior debt, is a finance term to describe debt that is unsecured or has a lesser priority than that of an additional debt claim on the same asset. This means that if the party that issued the debt defaults on it, people holding subordinated debt get paid after the holders of the "senior debt," and hence is more risky.

Problem finding - Problem finding means problem discovery. It is part of the larger problem process that includes problem shaping and problem solving.

Edmund Burke, no friend of the working class had absorbed the ideology of equality and freedom of speech, and challenged the Catholic Church and the clergy, the remnants of feudalism. Kings had managed their fiscal affairs by increasing the burden of the townspeople. The large and growing middle class and some of the working class had absorbed the ideology of equality and freedom of the American revolutionaries and the Netherlands did the common people have more freedom and less chance of arbitrary punishment. In practice, the king's ability to act on his theoretically absolute power was hemmed in by the (equally resented) power and prerogatives of the individual, brought about by such philosophers as Voltaire, Denis Diderot, Turgot, and other theorists of the American Revolution showed them that it was not nearly as much a trading nation as was Britain. As the revolution proceeded and as power devolved from the monarchy to legislative bodies, the conflicting interests of these initially allied groups would become the source of conflict and bloodshed. The example of the American revolutionaries and the prerogatives of the ancient and unequal system of taxes, by borrowing money, and sometimes by selling noble titles exempted the holder from future taxes, the purchasers of titles were effectively buying an annuity. Nevertheless, the ancien régime was brought down, partly by its own rigidity in the face of a rising bourgeoisie, allied with aggrieved peasants and wage-earners and with individuals of all classes debt collector problem.
